ASM’s Human Diversity Committee and the organizers of Black Mammalogists Week are delighted to announce the Nov 2022 recipients of the Black and Indigenous Scholars Award: Veronarindra Ramananjato and Ingrid Beatriz Ferreira Paixão! Veronarindra is a PhD student at University of California, Berkeley, studying mouse lemurs and their connections to biodiversity. Ingrid is a PhD student at Federal University of Uberlândia, studying the ecology, evolution, and conservation of didelphid marsupials. We are proud to help support the work of these dedicated scientists!
