James R. Colclough Paleontology Postdoctoral Fellowship

San Diego Natural History Museum

Applications are invited for the James R. Colclough Paleontology Postdoctoral Fellowship position at the San Diego Natural History Museum (SDNHM), San Diego, CA, USA. Duties include conducting original research in marine mammal paleontology, providing research assistance to the Curator, and introducing new technologies and analytical methods into the Museum setting. Postdoctoral Fellows will be in residence at SDNHM full time. Applicants must have received a PhD within the past six (6) years. Soon-to-graduate PhDs may apply, but all requirements for a PhD must be completed before hiring.
Annual compensation is $64,480, plus fringe benefits. Appointments are typically for two years contingent on satisfactory progress in year one.
